Managing postoperative or procedural wounds can be challenging particularly when working in the post acute environment. What to do when things aren't healing well and there are concerns.

This webinar explores the concept of managing post operative wounds particularly from a post acute perspective. We will look at some of the most common wound types seen in this area - grafts, donor sites, post excision sites.

We will also explore how do you identify infection and when you should refer on for further assessment.

The presentation will cover that therapy that you may rarely see and are not confident to apply - negative pressure, compression, radiotherapy wounds, and questions about older practices.

Lastly we will investigate what is safe practice and how to assess risk - supporting your clinical practice.
