Do I need an email address to join Nursing CPD?

Yes, you will need a valid email address as your email address is your login to the subscriber’s area of the website.

We email directly to you regular updates on upcoming webinars, nursing information and everything else that is happening to keep you up to date. You can obtain an email address for free. We recommend either Microsoft Outlook (previously known as Hotmail) or Gmail (Google), but there is a variety of free email accounts available. Is my Nursing CPD Individual Subscription a tax deduction?

Your Individual Subscription is classed as an education expense which are fully tax-deductible. However, we advise that you talk to an account for individual advise.

Is my Individual Subscription valid for a calendar year or from the date of my Nursing CPD registration?

Your subscription is active for 12 months from the date we receive payment. If you signed up and paid for your subscription on February 8th, 2022, your subscription is valid until February 8th, 2023.

What are your payment options?

You can pay online using a credit card or give us a call on 07 4151 3884 (choose option 1) and we will be happy to process your payment over the phone.

Once I have joined, are there any more payments required to complete my Continuing Professional Development (CPD)?

All you pay is a yearly Subscription fee which includes all your CPD activities on the website (excluding online courses) your online Evidence Portfolio, educational downloads, up to date articles on a wide range of nursing topics, a variety of task demos and much more!

I’m an Allied Health Professional, am I able to join Nursing CPD?

Yes, you may join Nursing CPD. Although we’re tailored for Nurses, we do provide a range of interesting information and topics that Allied Health Professionals would find relevant and useful.

How does Nursing CPD Australian College of Nursing (ACN) Affiliation benefit me?

Not only does it provide you with the peace of mind that we are recognised as education leaders in the industry by the ACN, but it also means you can receive a discount on an ACN membership. Simply mention Nursing CPD when you are filling in your ACN registration form.

What are my AHPRA CPD requirements?

Nurses and Midwives are required to undertake 20 hours of Continuing Professional Development. If you are a Nurse and a Midwife, you will be required to undertake 40 hours. We recommend you visit the following websites for more comprehensive information on your AHPRA registration requirements:

Do all CPD activities comply with AHPRA requirements?

All CPD comply with AHPRA requirements. Our CPD sessions at a minimum equate to 30 mins of CPD.  Once you have completed your evaluation, you will receive a CPD certificate that is stored on the website and can be printed or be included in your online Professional Portfolio that you can present to AHPRA should you be audited.

What type of CPD activities do you provide?

As everyone’s learning style is different, we offer a fantastic range of engaging and different activities, including interactive recorded webinars, watch a video and complete a quiz, read an article or document and complete a quiz, plus loads of articles and information on a range of nursing topics.

How do I receive my CPD certificates?

Once you’ve completed an education session you will receive a CPD certificate. Your CPD certificates will be stored on the website in your Dashboard where you have access to them while you are a financial Subscriber of Nursing CPD. You can choose which ones you’d like to include in your online Evidence Portfolio.

How do I keep track of all my CPD activities?

We provide you with an online Evidence Portfolio should you be audited by AHPRA. You can also print your certificates and you are required to keep your CPD evidence for at 5 least years.

Is there a limit to the number of CPD activities I can undertake?

As a financial Subscriber, you can undertake as many CPD sessions as you like, whenever you like and however you like. You can also decide which ones you’d like to include in your online Evidence Portfolio.

How long do I have access to the course content for?

You will have access to the course content for 12 months from the day of purchase.

Can I re-watch or re-read the content of the course?

From the time of purchase you are able to access any content from the course as many times as  you like for the next 12 months.

Are courses included in an annual subscription?

No, the courses are an additional cost. However, as an annual subscriber, you will receive a discount.

Do I receive a certificate?

Yes. Once you’ve completed all the modules of the course you will receive a certificate of completion.

Your CPD certificates will be stored on the website, in your dashboard where you have access to them while you are a financial member of Nursing CPD.

You can choose which ones you’d like to include in your online Evidence Portfolio.
