Overall, diabetes management in older adults requires a comprehensive and individualized approach that addresses their unique needs and challenges.

Older adults (aged 65 and older) are at a higher risk of developing diabetic complications such as cardiovascular disease, kidney disease, and neuropathy.

Effective management of diabetes in older adults is essential to prevent complications and maintain good health. Over on quarter of the clients seen in the community and residential age care settings will have a diagnosis of diabetes.

 This Webinar will provide an update on diabetes management in the older person, the latest pharmacological interventions, and destroy the myth of the diabetic diet.
