Course Content

Its goals encompass implementing a standardised healthcare system and advocating for a consistent approach to mitigate common and preventable risks that endanger the lives and health of surgical patients.

Endorsed by Australian Health Ministers, the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, and the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists, the Surgical Safety Checklist stands as a best practice patient safety initiative.

In this webinar, we will explore the Surgical Safety Checklist and the three-step process to undertake the process. We will also explore the frequently asked questions regarding the utilisation of the checklist.
