Course Content

Workplace bullying is a complex interaction influenced by organisational culture, power structures, and individual behaviours. This webinar explores the psychological, social, and systemic factors shaping the relationship between the perpetrator and recipient of workplace bullying. Integral to this presentation will be exploring the risks of being a perpetrator of workplace bullying if one has been a recipient of bullying.

The presenter will discuss the cycle of bullying and how roles can shift over time. Power imbalances, organisational culture and enabling factors are discussed.

The impact of workplace bullying can result in significant psychological, emotional, physical, financial and relationship losses for recipients (and at times perpetrators).

The presenter will invite consideration and reflection on the importance of the limbic system in a bullying interaction. Verbal and body scripts will be presented to demonstrated strategies that can be used to look after self when one is a recipient of workplace bullying.
