The skin is one of the largest organs and has many functions including protection from the external environment. As we age there are many changes that reduce this protection and leaves us vulnerable to trauma and damage.

What are these changes, why do they happen? Is it lifestyle, existing co-morbidities, medication or a combination of many factors.
